Welcome!

Welcome to my blog on getting the money you deserve from your court ordered judgment. I get so many questions from family and friends about this very topic. Many of you have taken someone to court and the judge decided in your favor, awarding you money that the other party has to pay. They have to pay right? Well, technically yes - however, it is up to you to make them pay. The court will not enforce your judgment for you. For this reason, it is important that you know how to get your money. You have already taken the first step and won a judgment, now it is time that you collect on it.

This blog offers you step by step directions on different ways you can collect on your judgment. It will also tell you if it is time to give up. Sometimes there is truly no money to get...with that in mind remember that your judgment is good for ten years. You can extend that time as well by asking the court to renew the judgment. Additionally judgments accrue 10% interest per year. So even if your judgment is not collectable now - you may be able to get your money in two or three years with interest.

Thanks for reading & please feel free to send questions.
